This Week at Mecca

It is early August and there has been nothing major to report regarding negotiaons.  In late sping the ATA conducted a province wide strike vote which was supported by the teachers.  From that voting date  there is a 120 day period with which a strike can be called.  There has been no agreement reached at this point in summer with negotiaitons planned again for late August.   We are planning to begin school as per normal come September.  If there are any further developments in negotiations we will keep you updated.
